Family Medicine Residency – Residents

Message from the Residents:

In order to provide the most impactful, innovative, and inclusive care for our patients, it is important for us to value the many different cultural experiences that our colleagues offer. Diversity makes us stronger, and we want our program to reflect the community that we serve. What would this look like?

• It would be empowering female physicians in the workplace.
• It would be celebrating with physicians of different cultures and faiths.
• It would be collaborating with doctors that look like our patients.
• It would be providing a safe space for the LGBTQ community.
• It would be forming a team of residents that feel comfortable and confident to bring a variety of life experiences to share with patients and peers, so that meaningful relationships can be built and strengthened.
