Medical Student Education Division

The Medical Student Education Division at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine provides a “home base” for all Brody medical students interested in pursuing Family Medicine after graduation and those who might be interested in learning more about primary care.

We also coordinate with visiting students from other institutions to give them a well-organized, high quality experience with us. Finally, we encourage student involvement on a regional, state, and national level with our Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) which hosts a variety of professional and social events and activities throughout the year.
