Education Division

The Education Division encompasses a broad range of medical disciplines that support and enhance the Department’s education and patient care mission.

Pharmacology, Nutrition, and Behavioral Medicine faculty are essential components of both resident and medical student training, and also provide solid educational opportunities for students in their respective disciplines. Within each section, patient care is an equal focus – not only in a traditional, consultative approach but also integrated at the point of care, when timely intervention is most effective.

The Research section provides extensive and expert support for faculty and resident scholarly activity. Grants, grant proposals, research projects, and scholarly authorship are offered the level of guidance and instruction appropriate for the researcher’s degree of expertise.

The Division also supports education on a wider level, coordinating the Department’s Grand Rounds series and providing innovative input on residency and medical student curriculum.
