Clinical Services Division
The goal of our division is to simplify care, facilitate access to our high quality services, and promote a positive environment while striving to deliver exceptional cost effective care. Teaching our family medicine fellows, residents, and students is our equally important goal, and our dedicated faculty and staff work diligently to fulfill these dual missions.
- Over 20,000 patients call us their medical home. We serve a diverse patient population ranging from the homeless shelter client to the university professor.
- We offer full spectrum primary care services.
- Our women’s health staff provides prenatal care, obstetrical services, and gynecological care.
- Our geriatrics staff provides comprehensive ambulatory care and nursing home care.
- Our sports medicine staff serve as local team physicians and provide a consult service for musculoskeletal problems.
- Our inpatient service provides continuity hospital care for our patient population and has proved high quality outcomes with relatively short lengths of stay.
- Many procedural services are offered through our clinics. Our patients appreciate having their physicians provide most of their care at one location.
- Full range of skin and minor surgical procedures, including, but not limited to:
- Punch/Shave biopsy
- Vasectomy, Circumcisions, Colposcopy
- Stress testing
- Holter monitoring
- Pulmonary function testing
- Joint injections
- IUD insertion
- Obstetrical ultrasound.
- We have a robust team of integrated care experts to support our primary care teams to include dedicated faculty and staff in nutrition, psychology, pharmacotherapy and social services.
- We also have an onsite lab, x-ray, pharmacy, and physical therapy.
Our practice serves as a personal medical home for each of our patients, ensuring access to care through an ongoing relationship. We encourage our patients to be active participants in their health and health care. Our practice culture is patient-centered and relationship-oriented. We emphasize the importance of meeting our patients’ needs and believe that the fundamental basis for health care is “people taking care of people.”
