Hospice Palliative Care Fellowship – Curriculum

The program’s mission is to enhance the palliative care education and patient care in Eastern North Carolina. We aim to educate future physicians in the principles of hospice and palliative care as well as provide palliative care services to seriously ill patients in the community. Our program is committed to making a difference in the lives of people living in Eastern North Carolina through providing high quality, evidence based palliative and hospice care. The fellowship program will focus on innovation while also building collaborative relationships with other specialties, providing education to learners of all stages (as well as patients and their families), and interact with service oriented organizations in the community for the benefit of our patients.
